Within the project Disasters do not know borders a cross-border demonstration exercise on protection and rescue from floods was organised in Shkodra on 1 April 2019, enabling testing and demonstration of readiness for interventions of 28 participants from Montenegro and Albania on swift waters, in line with the Rescue 3 system.

Before the exercise, a four-day training of rescuers from these two countries on this topic was organised, during which the participants had the opportunity to learn about contemporary methods of protection and rescue on swift waters from the licensed instructors from Mountain Rescue Service of Croatia.
