The start of the implementation of eight projects selected under the First Call for IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Albania 2014-2020, through which over 2.7 million EUR of EU grants has been committed, was ceremoniously celebrated on Thursday in Shkodra.
The project “The Feminine Side of Quality” was also presented at the meeting, and will be implemented by the Municipality of Ulcinj in partnership with MogUL and its partners from Albania.
The aim of the “The Feminine Side of Quality” project, which will last for 18 months, is increasing the employability of women, capacity enhancement and increasing the support for women.
The focus will also be on increasing labour intensive and economic initiatives, integration of cross-border labour markets, facilitating the process of promoting the work of women and products in cross-border areas.
