Through the project “Child friendly tourism in the cross-border region”, the Association for Democratic Prosperity – Zid (ADP-Zid) in partnership with the organization “Children Today” (NGO) from Albania, will strive to facilitate the interconnection of representatives of the tourism industry and CSOs with the aim of developing new tourism offers in the cross-border area between Montenegro and Albania through the promotion and launch of a joint tourism product based on a child-friendly concept and cross-sectoral cooperation. The project was launched in May 2018 and will be implemented by May 2020.
In that regard, the first module of training was realized in the period from 13 to 15 March 2019, at Princess Hotel in Bar, with the aim of contributing to increased cooperation and networking of representatives of the tourism industry, non-profit organizations as well as the civil society organization from Montenegro Gore and Albania. Through the first module of training, the participants had the opportunity to improve knowledge about the characteristics of children’s tourism, the market potential of child-friendly tourism, the standards and market requirements.
